he UK Covid-19 Inquiry was set up “to examine the UK’s response to and impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and learn lessons for the future”. At the time of typing this, you can catch up with the developments from the coverage here, or directly from the video recordings here, if you find the time. The evidence that has been presented at the Inquiry is hugely significant, but it is, sadly, nothing truly new.

haven’t written here in a while, but it’s that time of the year. It’s also been a year since we moved to a house next to a Victorian cemetery. Before the clocks change, this week has had very dark mornings, and later in the day the light in the cemetery has been really beautiful.

ast term I taught the Digital Information Technologies and Architectures (DITA) postgraduate module at #citylis. Sessions are divided in an hour and half of lecture and an hour and a half of computer lab work. As part of the module students created datasets obtained using data from the Twitter and Altmetric APIs.
