Jaguars – Large Carnivorous Felines Jaguars are large, carnivorous felines that are native to the Americas. They are the third largest cat species, after tigers and lions, and can be found in a variety of habitats including rainforests, swamps, and grasslands. Jaguars have distinctive coat patterns, with golden-tan fur covered in black spots arranged in a ring-like formation called rosettes.
