Egg-laying animals, also known as oviparous animals, are those animals that lay eggs as a means of reproduction. These animals produce and lay eggs outside of their bodies, and the eggs typically hatch into young animals after a certain period of incubation. Egg-laying animals can be found in a variety of different classes and orders within the animal kingdom, including birds, reptiles, insects, fish, and even some mammals.
